Executive Summary: I interned in the Risk Management, PCU department (not Enterprise Risk) and at the Bloomington-Normal YMCA. The Risk Management department I was in was in charge of organizing, renewing, and revising insurance policies that State Farm has on their stuff from other companies. Basically the insurer of the insurer. I worked on an Excel Spreadsheet that contained information on all owned and leased buildings of State Farm. At the YMCA, I worked on a devotional and scatter-plotted data. I enjoyed both areas and learned a lot. My managers and coworkers were helpful and understanding and made sure to give me actual, meaningful projects.
