How were you engaged with ARC? Not just the seminar/internship/fellowship but describe the type of project.

In almost every capacity. Assumed the first Coordinator role at ARC coming out of college. Wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Where did ARC take you professionally? Are you doing work that connects back to ARC in some way?

100% yes. Working for an organization that researches and promotes civic engagement nationwide. ARC has everything to do with why I’m in DC.

Where did ARC take you personally? Are you engaged in community work that is ARC-like?

110% yes. I’m so much more socially and community minded it’s not even funny.

Did ARC teach you what we were supposed to teach you? Did we teach you anything that was a surprise or outside of the learning objectives?

ARC holds the highest value to me in my IWU experience. So, of course, everything was a surprise, but… Everything was a good surprise. And I’ll have that experience to build off of forever.

Share a great memory about ARC/IWU.

Two words: Elmo Quinn. I also had an office in CLA which was sweet.
