Stephanie Swearingen ’04 Soloist Performance
Stephanie Swearingen ’04 was a soprano soloist in the Messiah performance sponsored by the Gibson Area Music Foundation on Sunday, December 6, 2015, the Paxton Record reported.
The event was sponsored by the Gibson Area Music Foundation and directed by Willie Summerville of Champaign. Swearingen was one of two new soloists featured in the performance.
She is a 2000 graduate of Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley High School and a 2004 graduate in piano performance of Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington. After spending a year in New York, Swearingen is employed in human resources with the University of Illinois and resides in Champaign. She is the daughter of Steve and Kay Swearingen of Melvin.

Piotr Dabrowski ’04 (San Diego), Travis Reynolds ’04 (Los Angeles), and Garrett Davey ’04 (Denver) all met up in Pasedena to watch the USA v. Mexico CONCACAF Cup playoff soccer match held in the Rose Bowl on October 10, 2015.
