What is the Tommymomter Reading Today?

Check out the latest status on the Tommymometer to see where we stand on IWU donors by clicking here.

By making your gift before July 31, you will not only add to the Tommymometer for alumni donors, but you will help to keep current Illinois Wesleyan students enrolled and our alma mater strong. The percentage of alumni donors is important to IWU because outside organizations view it as a metric to measure alumni satisfaction. It affects Illinois Wesleyan’s rankings, bond rating, and ability to earn grants.

Thank you for doing your part to fill the Tommymometer before July 31 and keep Illinois Wesleyan moving forward!

If you have already made a gift this year, thank you!

All In for Wesleyan Becomes a Tradition in 2015

On April 9, Titans of all generations pulled together and showed their pride on the third annual All In For Wesleyan. More than 1,800 gifts of all sizes from 49 states and 17 countries totaled over $500,000 in support of Illinois Wesleyan University and our students. Our collective philanthropy served as an inspiration to the next generation as All In For Wesleyan firmly established itself as an Illinois Wesleyan tradition, both on campus and off. The class of 2004 had 75 donors on April 9th and donations totaling $7,180.87.

Thank you 2004 Alumni for being “all in” all the time, and for continuing to make Illinois Wesleyan one of your giving priorities. If you have already made your gift this year, thank you! If you have not made your gift this year, I hope that you will join me as a donor and put us one more gift closer to our participation goal. You can make your gift by visiting iwu.edu/give. It is your support that keeps Illinois Wesleyan strong, and develops the next generation of leaders.

Are You All In For Wesleyan?

Pop Quiz: Think of something memorable about your Wesleyan experience.

Presser-Hall

Go ahead, take a moment.

What came to mind? Maybe it was Sunday brunch with your friends at Saga, or a late-night project in the common area, or warming up on the hotspot between classes.  Did you smile when you thought of it? Wouldn’t you like all future alums to look back fondly on memories like your own?

It’s in that spirit that we ask you to make a gift. Today IWU is hosting a drive with several surprises. In addition to dollar for dollar matching and prizes, you could win naming rights to various spots around campus! What piece of the IWU campus would you name? #IWUNameIt

Every amount makes an impact. Make a gift at iwu.edu/challenge today to support the little things that make Illinois Wesleyan great!

Thank You From IWU

February 16th is Thank A Giver Day — a day when the Illinois Wesleyan campus community celebrates the generosity of our supporters. We celebrate Thank A Giver Day on February 16th because at this point we’re 70% of the way through the school year. Since tuition covers 70% of the total cost of an IWU education, it’s a fitting time to draw attention to the fact that outside support from alumni and friends of the University plays a key role in delivering the kind of educational experience we expect from our alma mater.
Last year, over 8,000 people made gifts to Illinois Wesleyan University and, regardless of the size, each and every one played a role in keeping Illinois Wesleyan strong. If you would like to take a moment to make your annual gift, we invite you to do so at iwu.edu/give.
Go Titans!
