Matthew has been preparing for and responding to public health emergencies for more than 15 years. Currently the assistant vice president for Medicaid State Healthcare Assessment of IPRO, a nonprofit organization in New York City, Roberts and his colleagues are responding to the COVID-19 pandemic in the epicenter of the U.S. coronavirus outbreak.

She says, “The passion I discovered while building costumes for SOTA’s theatre production inspires every piece that I make. I like to think that there is a little piece of IWU in each of the masks that I deliver to my local hospitals.”
Sharon is a professional classical musician and private instructor. Since the pandemic, many of her concerts have been canceled; however, she still finds a way to bring joy to her neighborhood by playing her violin outside daily. Sharon also still holds online music lessons for her students through virtual platforms.
