2020 Eckley Scholars Pursue Independent Research Projects

Not even a global pandemic could deter IWU’s innovative and self-motivated Eckley Scholars from completing their independent, undergraduate research projects during the summer of 2020. The five Eckley Scholars were Megan Baker ’21, Bobby Koirala ’22, Yovana Milosevic ’21, Hannah Ogunnubi ’22, and Erin Yuan ’21.

A group of students at Illinois Wesleyan transformed the IWU Peace Garden into a nationally-recognized safe haven for bees and other native pollinators. Earning a Bee Campus USA certificate shows how a few committed students can make a difference in the sustainability efforts on campus.
