TiffinTown Books - Augmented Reality
Using Augmented Reality, the heroine’s come to life. Children can now interact with the characters in our story! Working with Amplified Robots (UK), we will be creating new AR content regularly, so you’ll get to unlock new features for the first few months of each book as we introduce updates, games, and more!
substainable Books

Our beautiful hardcover 64-page books are made of FSI-certified paper AND printed with vegetable ink! It also measures 8.5 x 11 inches (horizontal) – the perfect size for children to hold.

Social Enterprise

For every book we sell, we donate a dollar to charities dedicated to female empowerment and children’s education.

Homecoming Veteran’s Service 2017

As IWU celebrates Titans Around the World at Homecoming this weekend, we will also honor our alumni who served worldwide as veterans and first-responders, including Captain Ryan A. Beaupre ’95. We will remember Ryan and all veterans and first-responders who have given their lives in the service of others and our country. Presenting the colors will be American Legion Color Guard Post 635 Normal and Post 56 from Bloomington. The ceremony will take place this Saturday, October 14th at 12:45 p.m., prior to the Homecoming Football game at Tucci Stadium and will include the National Anthem sung by Wayne Messmer ’72.  Classmates and friends can view the ceremony on streaming video live at https://portal.stretchinternet.com/iwu/.

20 Under 40: Clara Ehrhart ’15

Clara Ehrhart ’15 has been singing in choirs since the sixth grade. At Quincy High School, she said, “I was pretty much in every choir group there was.” She also sang in the University Choir for four years at IWU and is now a member of the Quincy Symphony Chorus.

Those musical experiences have meant a lot to Ehrhart, so she’s now giving back through her volunteer efforts. For example, she helps the QHS Music Department whenever she can, and she’s a member of Encore! — the Quincy Symphony Orchestra Association’s volunteer council. Ehrhart also does volunteer work for the Quincy Community Theatre, United Way of Adams County and other organizations.

As a trust officer at Mercantile Bank, Ehrhart is encouraged to become involved in the community. So she serves on the boards of Sunset Home and the Michelmann Foundation, the charitable arm of Michelmann Steel Construction Co. — a business headed by her mother, who has been an inspirational role model for Ehrhart.

Clara has recently been recognized by her home community of Quincy as one of their 20 Under 40! She speaks of her job, community, successes, and more in an interview of which you may read more of here: http://www.whig.com/20170924/20-under-40-clara-ehrhart#

Congratulations, Clara!
