Dylan Overstreet ’15

Dylan Overstreet ’15 is among men’s basketball nominees for the 2015 National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) and Allstate Insurance Company Good Works Teams. Also reported by the Paxton Record.

As part of his internship at the Bloomington-Normal Boys & Girls Club, Overstreer developed “Hardwork 2 Hoops” program which partnered with IWU basketball to offer two free camp scholarships for boys who demonstrated good behavior at the club and good grades in the classroom. He also helped develop a “Wish Wall” at the club that allows members to write down their wish for their club, such as something they want to do, a field trip or a program to be offered. A number of those wishes were granted and multiple field trips were funded.
