Julie (Croxton) Lee ’07 and Jonathan Lee welcomed Jackson Daryl Lee on Oct. 25, 2017. He weighed 7 lbs., 6 oz. and was 20 3/4 inches long. Congratulations on your Tiny Titan!

Laura (Curtis) Kraynak ’07 and husband Michael welcomed daughter Evelyn Rose on Oct. 2. Congratulations to Laura, Michael, and big sister Addison!

Laura writes: “Evelyn’s namesake is Evelyn Chapel, where Mike and I were married in 2013. And as another added treasure, I had the privilege of having some IWU nursing students care for Evie in the days after she was born during their clinical rotations. It’s so great to be a Titan and have so many special ties back to campus!!”

Honoring veterans and first responders at Homecoming

As IWU celebrates Titans Around the World at Homecoming this weekend, we will also honor our alumni who served worldwide as veterans and first-responders, including Captain Ryan A. Beaupre ’95. We will remember Ryan and all veterans and first-responders who have given their lives in the service of others and our country. Presenting the colors will be American Legion Color Guard Post 635 Normal and Post 56 from Bloomington. The ceremony will take place at Tucci Stadium prior to the football game (10/14). The ceremony will also include the National Anthem sung by Wayne Messmer ’72. Classmates and friends can view the ceremony on streaming video live.
