Shannon O’Rourke ’07

Shannon O’Rourke ’07 was one of 10 chosen out of over 300 applications to participate in the 2018 Rotary Peace Fellow Retreat in Nepal.

This retreat, typically held every two years, unites a small, focused cohort of peace fellows and peace fellow alumni to analyze, discuss, and develop courses of action related to key issues within the peace and conflict resolution field.

Shannon was one of the first students at IWU selected for a Rotary Cultural Ambassadorial Scholarship during her time at IWU.  Since her first time abroad in Senegal, she has continued to work internationally and has also been selected for two Rotary Peace fellowships.

Bryonha Marie Parham ’07

Bryonha Marie Parham ’07 will perform at New York City’s Highline Ballroom as a part of the acclaimed concert series, Broadway Sings, that takes a pop icon and flips their music to create brand new, unique arrangements and orchestrations.

Each installment gathers over a dozen Broadway stars to belt out new versions of the songs, backed by a full jazz band. On March 26 at 8 p.m., Bryonha will perform among many other fierce female stars to sing Rihanna! For more information about the show or to buy tickets, visit this site.
