Shannon O’Rourke Kasali ’07

The library Shannon O’Rourke Kasali ‘07 created in Mogadishu, Somalia–the Tubsan National Center for Preventing and Countering Violent Extremism Library—was inaugurated in November. It is a Somali government library open to practitioners and researchers working on peace building in the country, funded by the European Union. Congratulations, Shannon!

Prianka Sharma ’07

Prianka Sharma ’07 recently started a new role as Vice President and Counsel for Regulatory Affairs at the American Road and Transportation Builders Association (ARTBA). She also received the ABA Environment, Energy, and Resources Section Outstanding Committee Award for her work on the 2022-2023 Endangered Species Committee. Congratulations Prianka!

Amanda ReCupido ’07

Amanda ReCupido ’07 wrote and produced the musical parody Sex and the Windy City, which was staged at Chicago’s iO Theater and came in second in the “Best Musical” category in Chicago Reader’s “Best of Chicago Awards.”

Zach Hooper ’07

Zach Hooper ’07 was selected by the seven justices of the Illinois Third District Appellate Court to serve as Clerk of the Court. Zach has worked for the appellate court since 2011 and previously served as the court’s Director of Legal Research. After obtaining his BA in business administration from Illinois Wesleyan, Zach obtained a JD from Northern Illinois University College of Law.
