Charlene Carruthers ’07, a nationally recognized voice on racial justice, was the keynote speaker at a summit bringing together the community and scholars on contemporary racism. The Summit: New Frontiers in the Study of Colorblind Racism was hosted at IWU May 12-14.

Eric Malmquist ’07
Illinois Wesleyan University’s New Music Café featured the works of Eric Malmquist ’07 and Stockholm-based composer Matthew Peterson. The concert took place on March 10 in Presser Hall’s Westbrook Auditorium. A Chicago-based composer, Eric’s work draws equally from modern styles, especially minimalism and post-modernism, and the influence of historical themes and early music.
