Nominate An Outstanding IWU Alum!
The IWU Alumni Association Nominating Committee is compiling a list of alumni candidates for the Alumni Award categories below:
- Distinguished Alumnus/na Award: This award is presented annually to an alumnus/na who has made a distinguished contribution to society, has achieved professional distinction, or has demonstrated civic leadership.
- Robert M. Montgomery Outstanding Young Alumnus/na Award: Named for a 1968 alumnus and former IWU Alumni Director, this award recognizes young alumni for outstanding professional achievement, civic leadership, or both. Nominees for this award should have graduated less than 15 years ago.
- Loyalty Award: This award recognizes alumni who have benefited Illinois Wesleyan either through service to the University, strong financial support, or both.

Abby Reel ’04 and Jason Haas welcomed Amos Jason Reel on January 16, 2017 at 7:28 a.m.. Amos weighed 8lbs, 7 ounces, and measured 20 inches long. He joins big sister Leslie, age 5.

Chris Holland ’04 Publishes Article
Chris Holland ’04 had his second published article in the December 2016 issue of the DuPage County Bar Association journal, “DCBA Brief” entitled, “The Decriminalization of Cannabis and How it Affects Criminal Practice.”
Career Moves for Sarah (Williams) Edmundson ’04
This summer, Sarah (Williams) Edmundson ’04 transitioned from teaching at the United States Air Force Academy to a new position. She currently serve as the Senior Special Victims’ Counsel in the West for the Air Force. Her and her team of 17 attorneys and paralegals represent victims of sexual assault within the military justice system and provide assistance beyond.

The Hart Career Center, Alpha Kappa Psi and the Economics Society hosted a special program on October 19 that engages our alumni who are working in financial services fields. The panel included the following Titans:
