Jeanette Otis ’02

Jeanette Otis ’02 recently received her third SPARC (Superior Performance and Recognition Certificate) award for her work at Elevate Services, Inc., a legal service provider:
Jeanette created the content, delivered the training, and provided and scored the assessments for the Patent Illustration Specialty Team for the PC-LWP team. This team works hand-in-hand with an internal client team on providing drawings for patent applications – a critical task for the client’s patent practice and one that is billable for the client!  As Patent Champion, Jeanette built her knowledge and skill set from scratch, continues to maintain the knowledge base, and provides team coaching whenever necessary.
The five member team was certified in January 2016.

John Schreiner ’02

John Schreiner ’02 has been promoted to partner at law firm Perkins Coie. At Perkins, John is a member of the firm’s Corporate Governance & Transactions practice in the Chicago office.  He counsels public and closely held established and emerging companies in their daily business needs, ranging from negotiating vendor and customer contracts to sale and succession planning matters.  He also represents public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions, private equity financing, lending transactions, corporate governance and other general business matters.  John has a wide breadth of industry experience, with a particular focus on food and beverage companies, manufacturers, retailers, construction companies, providers of web-based services and biotechnology and medical products and devices companies.
