Catherine Lawry ’93 was recently promoted to the position of Research Specialist in the Information Management Department of Illinois Farm Bureau. She has worked for IFB/Country Insurance since 1998. Congratulations Catherine!

James C. Joslin ’93 has joined the Minneapolis law firm of Ciresi Conlin LLP as a partner. Joslin will focus his litigation practice on business and commercial litigation, non-competition/employment law, accounting/valuation business disputes, mass tort, personal injury, and medical malpractice.

Tariq Khan was a featured speaker at the annual MBA Media and Entertainment Conference, hosted this year by New York University’s Stern School of Business. The event was attended by hundreds of students from dozens of business schools, with the goal of exploring the future of media and entertainment. His remarks focused on Oscar punditry, and how technology has changed campaigning and competing for various film awards.
