Angela (Behrens) O’Bryant ’93, MSN, RN, APHN-BC, entered a new job position at the University of IL College of Medicine in Peoria, IL as Clinical Associate Faculty and Director of Academic Programs as of March 2018. Angela will be working with medical students in their clinical experiences and developing community health sites for medical student and residents. Congratulations to Angela on her new position.

Jennifer McClure ’93 was recently promoted to Senior Information Analyst with Walt Disney Attractions Technology. She is responsible for managing data for resorts, room types, tickets, restaurants, and dining products at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. She also participates in technology projects designed to enhance Disney Guest experiences.
As IWU celebrates Titans Around the World at Homecoming this weekend, we will also honor our alumni who served worldwide as veterans and first-responders, including Captain Ryan A. Beaupre ’95. We will remember Ryan and all veterans and first-responders who have given their lives in the service of others and our country. Presenting the colors will be American Legion Color Guard Post 635 Normal and Post 56 from Bloomington. The ceremony will take place this Saturday, October 14th at 12:45 p.m., prior to the Homecoming Football game at Tucci Stadium and will include the National Anthem sung by Wayne Messmer ’72. Darcia Kunkel ’91 released both paperback and kindle versions of her debut book, 40-Something and Fried in April. With humor and honesty, Darcia documents the ups and downs of a 40-something mother of three, wife, author, and editor. A former military spouse, she writes on topics including motherhood, Christian inspiration, military spouse transition, practical cooking, and the struggles of perfectionism.

Heléna Klumpp recently joined the law firm Ivins, Phillips & Barker as a partner in its Washington, D.C. office. Heléna, who has over 20 years of experience as a tax lawyer, is now a member of the firm’s corporate tax and tax policy practice groups. She and her husband, Bill Emery, and their children, Catherine and Joseph Emery, relocated to Vienna, Virginia from Evanston, Illinois, where Heléna had been serving as VP-Tax for Baxter International Inc.
