But on Thursday, September 21, 2023, members of the John Updike Society will travel to Tucson, Arizona for the 7th Biennial John Updike Society Conference in Tucson, Arizona, where John and Martha Updike owned two adjacent casitas (condos) and spent roughly five months each year during the early 2000s.
