Late Entry: May 20th Recap – Snorkeling Molokini Crater & “Turtle Town”…

On Monday, May 20th, following the weekend off, “class” consisted of a snorkeling excursion on the Impeccable Pride of Maui catamaran to snorkel the Molokini Crater and nearby “Turtle Town”… The fish and sea plants were beautiful in the crater… The Hawaiian green sea turtle (Honu) is an endangered species, and unfortunately, none of us spotted one of those magnificent creatures this time around.

Emily Lezcano, Matt Rashid, Lucas Wheat & Matt Lucas enjoy the sun and sea breeze on the ride out to Molokini on the Impeccable Pride of Maui…
Students show their Wesleyan Pride on the way to Molokini…
Another “small world” experience… Sara Toniolo discovered she was sitting next to a family from her home town of Racine, WI!
