Kate Tock ’14 had the opportunity to meet fellow Illinois Weseylan Alum Wayne Messmer ’72, who sang “God Bless America” and “Star Spangled Banner” during the World Series at Wrigley Field.

Nick Anderson ’14 was a panelist on the CR Magazine’s COMMIT! Forum. He spoke about the future of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and about the steps industry leaders are taking to bring more social good into the business world.
Helen Brandt ’14 began work as an Associate Adjunct Professor at University of Indianapolis.
Lauren Henry ’14 earned a Master of Arts degree in Museum Studies from John Hopkins University and accepted a position as the Archives and Curatorial Assistant at the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina.
On June 24th, 2016 James J. Schiffer ’14 and Kathleen E. Zeman were married to each other in Inverness, IL. Many of their alumni friends from IWU attended. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Alumni Dana Marlin (’14) and Kendall Held (’11) reconnected in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to cheer for Held’s younger brother Ryan who competed in the Olympic Games. There was a lot to celebrate– Ryan took home Gold in the Men’s 4x100m freestyle relay. Both Marlin and Held swam together during their time at Illinois Wesleyan University. Dana currently lives in Rio de Janeiro with her husband.
