Ulmer & Berne LLP is pleased to announce that Christopher D. Seps has joined as an associate in the firm’s Chicago office. Mr. Seps brings depth to the Financial Services and Securities Litigation practice, which has grown from one to six Chicago-based attorneys since March 2012. He brings the total Chicago attorneys to 22.
The focus of Mr. Seps’ practice is on complex litigation and arbitration, including handling matters involving contract disputes, securities fraud, violations of state and federal securities laws, and FINRA arbitration. He represents broker-dealers and registered representatives in disputes involving securities fraud, defamation, wrongful termination of employment, negligence, breach of contract, and breach of fiduciary duty.
Mr. Seps earned his B.A., cum laude, in psychology and English writing from Illinois Wesleyan University and his J.D., with high honors, from the University of Illinois College of Law.
