Landis Wiedner ’06 was interviewed on CBS Chicago on March 23rd for the podcast she created called What the EF. It’s an epilepsy awareness podcast where they share, cry, and laugh at all of their epilepsy WTF moments. In January 2023, Kelly (Goodpaster) Fuller ’06 joined Type A Events as Senior Manager, Incentives & Conferences where she supports clients in selecting, planning and operating incentive trips, sales meetings, and other corporate programming worldwide. She also continues to be involved in the event planning industry as a member of SITE (Society of Incentive Travel Excellence) and has attained her CIS (Certified Incentive Specialist) and CITP (Certified Incentive Travel Professional) certifications.

Dr. Lindsay Sicks ’06, IWU alumna of the Class of 2006 and Associate Professor at the Illinois College of Optometry, was the recipient of the IACLE Contact Lens Educator of the Year Award by the American Academy of Optometry. Congratulations, Lindsay!

Sara (Lockman) Miller ’06 was recently featured in a newspaper article talking about her tutoring center she created in the early days of the pandemic lockdown. Great job to Sara for her ingenuity and passion!

Ashley Keith-Phillips was invited to present at the American Health Lawyers Association’s (AHLA) Physicians and Hospitals Law Institute with her topic titled “Providing Culturally Competent Legal Advice to Healthcare Systems.” After the well-received presentation, she was featured in the Member Spotlight for AHLA’s May edition of its magazine, Health Law Connections. Ashley serves as in-house corporate counsel at University Hospitals Health System, the second largest private sector company in Ohio with more than 30,000 employees. She is currently serving her second term as a member of the Board of Directors for Pregnant With Possibilities Resource Center, a nonprofit dedicated to eliminating racial disparities in maternal and infant health outcomes in Cuyahoga County, Ohio.

Kevin Latman and Beth Dennis ’07 welcomed daughter Abigail (Abby) Jane Latman on April 23rd at 5:06 pm. Abby was 20 inches and weighed 6 lbs.13 oz. Congrats to Kevin and his family!
