TAG Day 2020
Thank-A-Giver Day (TAG Day) is Monday, February 10. This day provides the IWU campus community with the opportunity to thank donors who support Illinois Wesleyan. IWU celebrates each year in mid-February because it marks the symbolic point during the academic year – about 70% of the way through – when we rely on support from alumni and friends, our endowment, and external grants.
If you would like to be celebrated as a donor today, you can make a gift at iwu.edu/give.
Victoria “Vikki” (Walczak) Meloy ’91
Vikki graduated from East Tennessee State University in May of 2017 with a master’s degree in nursing education. She just completed her first year as a clinical lecturer with the University of Tennessee College of Nursing. At graduation on May 10, 2019 she was awarded the Excellence in Clinical Teaching Award which was selected by the graduating class.

All In Results
You did it, Titans! You were the key to our success. On April 11, 2,205 donors collectively raised $518,316. And thanks to the generosity of our pacesetter challenge donors, our grand total is $776,316 (and still counting!)

Tim Daugherty ’91
Tim Daugherty ’91 was appointed by Mercy Medical as Vice President of operations and strategic planning. He will have responsibility for Business Development and Clinical Services as well as the Mercy Network Hospitals. You can read more about Tim‘s accomplishment here.

Not only is today a day for giving, it’s a day to celebrate IWU and all of the things that make it special. Last year, our class had an impressive 19 donors, and we contributed $2,830. Let’s think bigger and surpass last year’s donors and dollars contributed! Think of the impact this can make for IWU students and their families!
