Tim is a chief counsel and legal executive with Caesars Entertainment and lives in Plainfield, Illinois. Scott is a human resources executive with General Mills, living in Minneapolis. Thank-A-Giver Day (TAG Day) is on Monday, February 11. This day provides the IWU campus community with the opportunity to thank the donors who support Illinois Wesleyan. IWU celebrates each year in mid-February because it marks the symbolic point during the academic year – about 70% of the way through – when tuition dollars run out and support from alumni and friends, our endowment, and external grants kicks in for the remainder of the year.

Stephan Paul Antonacci ’90 has been named President and CEO of Security Bank in Springfield, IL. More about his accomplishment can be found here. Congratulations, Stephan!

Paul Antonacci ’90 has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Security Bank in Springfield, Illinois.

Antonacci has 21 years of broad banking experience, ranging from community banks to a large, money-center bank.  His experience spans all types of financial services, including mortgage, commercial and consumer lending, retail services, cash and treasury management, private banking, and investments. 

Antonacci works out of Security Bank’s headquarters in downtown Springfield, Illinois.  Security Bank offers a broad range of services, including commercial term loans and lines of credit, residential mortgage loans and home equity lines of credit, a complete array of business and consumer deposit accounts and services, and investment advisory services through its subsidiary, SB Financial Services, Inc., all to fulfill customers’ needs.

Tuesday, April 3rd is our day of giving at Illinois Wesleyan and this year’s theme is
Think Bigger! 
Not only is today a day for giving, it’s a day to celebrate IWU and all of the things that make it special.  Last year, our class had an impressive 11 donors, and we contributed $5,970.
