Cheryl Delk-Le Good ’90 has been appointed Executive Director for EnglishUSA, the American Association of Intensive English Programs. She joins EnglishUSA after a long tenure with Georgia State University where she previously served as the Director of their Intensive English Program. Delk-Le Good’s extensive leadership experience includes recent service as a commissioner for the Commission on English Language Accreditation (CEA) and as the IEP Network Leader for the International Enrollment Management Knowledge Community for NAFSA (IEM KC). She also served on the boards of EnglishUSA and University and College Intensive English Programs (UCIEP). In addition to her leadership experience, she is a frequent presenter, has authored two ESL textbooks, and has conducted multiple program and curriculum reviews nationally and internationally.
Founded in 1986, EnglishUSA is a non-profit organization of over 430 Intensive English Programs (IEPs) throughout the U.S. IEPs are located in university and college settings or city centers across the United States. EnglishUSA’s mission is to provide support, standards, and advocacy for intensive English programs in the USA.
