The Fulbright Seminar in American studies is a three-day long mountain retreat for more than 70 US and Austrian students, scholars, and teaching assistants. The event, which is the highlight of the Austrian Fulbright calendar, is held in Strobl am Wolfgangsee in Austria.
Amelia Smith ’15 attended as a USTA Regional Adviser. The second-year UTSAs are a point of contact for incoming teaching assistants in their region.
As is stated on Fulbright’s page, “the Fulbright Seminar in American Studies is a wonderful opportunity for US and Austrian Fulbrighters in various disciplines and programs to meet, network, and promote mutual understanding.”
