Senior Success at the Student Composition Concert

On April 21,2015 Illinois Wesleyan’s School of Music presented a concert featuring student compositions. Seniors that performed at the concert include:

  • Hadrian’s Wall by Zach Siegel
    • Zach played the trombone
  • Cathryn Volk played the piano in From Theories and Dreams, by Megan Cherry ’17 and in L’hiver coule en rouge, by John Gardner ’17
  • Natalie Hoijer played the flute in Solve for X, by Samuel Mullooly ’16
  • John Cossio sang Because I Could Not Stop For Death (Text: E. Dickinson), by Tommy Bravos ’17
  • Old Flames, by Ayethaw Tun ’15, Ryan Donlin ’17, Robert Kuntz ’18
    • Ayethaw Tun played the guitar
  • Ayethaw Tun played the electric bass in Teeth, by Ryan Donlin ’17
  • Lauren Schafer ’15 sang soprano in Teeth, by Ryan Donlin ’17
  • Other performers:in Teeth, by Ryan Donlin ’17 include Eric Novak ’15, Nick Castellanos ’15, Jordan Lipes ’15, Kate Ford ’15
