  • Back to College Classes Friday and Saturday – The Ames Library, Beckman Auditorium
  • Family Fun on the Quad Saturday 8:30-11 – Eckley Quadrangle
  • Titan Tailgate Featuring Local Food Trucks Saturday 10AM-1PM – Shirk Center Parking Lot
  • “Club Tommy” Saturday, 6-9pm (Cost: $20) – Young Main Lounge in the Memorial Center

Laurie Diekhoff

Laurie Diekhoff departed from IWU after 10 years at the Hart Career Center. She told her colleagues, “I spent 10 great years at the Career Center, enjoying my work, my colleagues, and the many relationships I have made on campus and in the community as a result of this position. Assisting students with their career development plans, helping employers fulfill their hiring needs, developing new programs, and contributing to the ongoing success of the Hart Career Center has been quite rewarding!”

Jessica Scharf ’13

There was recently an article written by Bill Flick in the Pantagraph regarding Jessica Scharf ’13. The article details how she was influenced in her  journey towards becoming member of the Seattle Seahawks cheer and dance squad.

Emily Susin ’13

Emily Susin ’13 was a panelist at the Annual Meeting of the Illinois Section of the Mathematical Association of America held recently. The panel session Emily served on was called “Mathematics is Business, Industry, and Government.” Congratulations, Emily!

Marriage of Chelsea (Werries) Alarcon ’13 to Xavier Alarcon

Chelsea (Werries) Alarcon ’13 married Xavier Alarcon.

The wedding took place in Illinois Wesleyan University’s Evelyn Chapel on January 14, 2017.

Several alumni from IWU were in attendance.
