Eunis Wu ’12 represented the Lyric Chamber Music Society of New York, Inc. at The 86th Kosciuszko Foundation Annual Dinner & Ball in New York, accompanied by Executive Director Reggie Bahl, this past weekend. Eunis says, “It was truly an honor to be part of such a memorable evening, celebrating the remarkable legacies of Polish music legends, alongside world-renowned musicians and promising young leaders.” Congratulations Eunis!

Vicki Simmons ’12

Vicki Simmons ’12 recently graduated from her residency in general surgery in June 2022 from the program at Ascension St. John in Detroit, MI. At graduation she was honored with the Anthony B. Chambers Award, which is given each year to the chief surgical resident for the best performance during their residency, as voted by the surgical faculty. Next she will be continuing her training with a fellowship in vascular surgery at Michigan Vascular Center in Flint, MI.

Shavantay Thomas ’12

Shavantay Thomas ’12 was among the 2022 graduates of the Multicultural Leadership Program (MCLP) honored in a Facebook live event on April 2, 2022. Shavantay is a retention specialist in State Farm’s Customer Care Center. MCLP is the flagship program of the Multicultural Leadership Institute, a nonprofit located on Illinois Wesleyan’s campus and recognized among the University’s affiliate programs.

Ronald Fowle Grider ’12

Ronald Fowle Grider ’12 graduated Dec 11, 2021, with a PhD degree from Washington University School of Medicine. He is originally from East Peoria, IL and graduated with honors in 2012 from IWU with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry. He resides in St. Louis, where he is employed by the Washington University Graduate School of Medicine Laboratories.
