Thank-A-Giver (TAG) Day is the symbolic point during the academic year — about 70% of the way through — when tuition dollars are exhausted and Illinois Wesleyan relies on donor generosity to continue providing a world-class education and rewarding collegiate experiences.
Each and every year, every gift matters. Contributions benefit students and faculty, enhance academic excellence, and strengthen the IWU community.

Matt Wennmaker ’10 was named executive director of the Illinois Junior Golf Association in February 2020. Matt previously served as the IJGA’s associate executive director. An All-American golfer at Illinois Welseyan, he is the organization’s first executvie director to have played in the IJGA events growing up. Matt joined the IJGA full-time in 2011–he served an internship in 2010–and has previously served as a tournament manager, manager of communications and events, director of communications and events, and senior director of programming. Congrats!
In June of 2019, United Soccer League Senior Vice President for League Operations Brett Luy ’10 was noticed for his development of a player safety proposal to combat concussion issues. Click here to read about Brett’s proposal.
