Announcement from Robin (Johnson) Cook ’06, Melissa Myers ’09 and Alex Boecher ’09

Robin (Johnson) Cook ’06 expressed thanks to Melissa Myers ’09 (her first cousin) and Alex Boecher ’09, for videotaping her wedding ceremony and greeting their guests. A few weeks later, Melissa graduated from Michigan State University’s medical school with her M.D., and three weeks after that, she and Alex got married. Robin and her husband Logan were able to return the favor by ushering and helping videotape their ceremony.

Melissa and Robin both feel fortunate that their grandparents, IWU alumnus Dr. Robert T. ’50 and Mrs. Alta Myers, were able to attend both graduations and weddings, making for a busy but joyous spring!

Johnny Begale ’09 honored as a “30 Under 30” winner

Congratulations to Johnny Begale!
Windy City Times recently honored Johnny as a “30 Under 30” winner for his non-profit “Equality America”.
