Caitlin (Ludwig) Pusateri ’08 and Adam Pusateri ’08

Caitlin Ludwig ’08 married Adam Pusateri ’08 on September 3, 2016 in Rockford at Holy Family Catholic Church. Reception at Prairie View Golf Course in Byron, IL followed. Many IWU alums were in attendance.

Caitlin is the VP of Leadership Development at the Rockford Chamber and Adam is a math teacher at Jefferson High School. The couple recently purchased their first home in Rockton, IL.

Jaclyn Stephens ’08

Dr. Jaclyn Stephens ’08 will be back on campus October 31 to speak to current students and give a research talk called “Cognitive Neuroscience Through the Lens of Rehabilitation” sponsored by the Psych Department & IWU OT club. Jaclyn is interested in using her cognitive neuroscience research to inform the rehabilitation OT professionals do, especially for patients with traumatic brain injury.

Miranda (Utzinger) Karban ’08

Miranda (Utzinger) Karban ’08 received her PhD in Biological Anthropology from the University of Iowa. Her dissertation was titled “The Ontogeny of Occipital Bone Convexity in a Longitudinal Sample of Extant Humans.” The dissertation explored cranial growth and development patterns in modern humans and Neanderthals. In the fall of 2016, she starts her position as Assistant Professor of Biology at Illinois College.
