IWU Summer Reading Program

Join the new academic tradition known as the Summer Reading Program.  Students, faculty, staff, and alumni are reading:

  •          Wednesday, September 3rd the author will be discussing his book at the President’s Convocation at 11 am at Westbrook Auditorium in Presser Hall, IWU.

Anthony Pavone ’08

Anthony Pavone earned his law degree from John Marshall Law School in Chicago last year. He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in May 2013 and now practices with Loss & Pavone in Lombard, Ill. He is also pursuing a master of law degree in estate planning.

Social Media and Your Career

• 4 p.m., Welcome Center Auditorium – Social Media and Your Career – Topics will include: LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Glassdoor and how employers use these platforms to source candidates and market their organizations, and how candidates can use social media to establish a professional presence and utilize and strengthen their networks.
