Dijon Schroff ’00 has been recognized by the Pantagraph for her hard work in giving back to the community. After a rough childhood, Dijon worked to make a successful life, and also got involved with today’s youth to improve their lives by joining Big Brothers/Big Sisters in Bloomington. She collects bike parts and repairs old ones to give them back to children that need bikes, which according to Dijon, is “a huge deal for someone who otherwise has no transportation.” She has already given away 77 bicycles, and plans to keep helping the youth in our town.

A trustee has agreed to make a
$2,500 gift for every young alumni
class (1999-2014) who reaches 24%
or better before July 31.
This means that for every class that
hits 24%, IWU will be able to award
an additional $2,500 scholarship to
a deserving student.
Also, an additional $2,500 gift will be made for any class
that reaches 30%!
