  1. Renee,
I could sit and look at your work for hours—especially these clouds. Although far from abstract, they act, like all clouds do, like an abstraction: rewarding quiet observation with contemplation and insight—not unlike a big red Rothko!
Curt and I were just talking about you the other day, grateful for the pieces of prodigious juvenilia you gave each of us back in the day—which still hang in our respective homes. We also remembered parties, witty conversation, sometimes sardonic humor, and of course, front yard cookouts.
I hope you are well. Perhaps we can have coffee the next time I’m in Chicago or you are in DC.
    Take care,
    Tom

    • Oh Tom,
It’s so wonderful to hear from you and to read your beautiful commentary on my clouds.
I would love to see you both. Really ! I treasure our rowdy college get togethers.
      BIG hug to you.
      Renee

  2. Renee,
Great hearing from you. You have my email above. Send me yours before summer when I usually make my annual Midwest Swing. If you plan a trip East please let me know. Would love to catch up.
    Stay warm,
    Tom
