Kathy Cawley ’70 was honored with the “Elite Advisor Award” from the National Tax-Deferred Saving Association on June 29, 2016 for her excellence in improving American workers’ ability in building a successful retirement.

Claudia Brogan ’77, Debra Burt-Frazier ’75, Marilynn Graves ’79, Elly Jones ’91, Molly Rollings ’99, and Karen Zander ’70 held practice interviews for current IWU students at the IWU Hart Career Center during the Council for IWU Women Summit.

Jo (Rudesill) Michaels ’70 of Ingleside, Illinois, died Oct. 28, 2015, due to complications from heart surgery.  She was a theatre major at Illinois Wesleyan, and became Assistant Manager of Show Operations at Six Flags Great America in Gurnee, Ill for almost 20 years; later, to become state and nationally certified as a massage therapist.  She carried this profession into retirement.  Jo is survived by her husband of 46 years, Ron ’69; son, Troy; and two grandchildren.
