Hi Class of ’70!
Just a reminder that today is All In For Wesleyan! This is an important day for IWU! But All In for Wesleyan is more than a one-day giving campaign – it’s a day to celebrate Illinois Wesleyan and all of the things that make it special.
Many of you remember our 45th Reunion a couple of years ago
As we move toward our 50th reunion in 3 years, we want to support IWU now for all the good it has done for us in our lives and all the good memories we have from our years there.
I know that many of you wait to give money until this day. As a special bonus, any gift you make today at www.iwu.edu/all-in will be matched dollar for dollar (up to $100,000!) by Dorothea Bilder ’62, doubling your impact on Illinois Wesleyan!
If you are into social media, you can show your Titan Pride by making a gift and encourage others to participate during All In using #AllInForWesleyan.
Please get involved and stay tuned to the fun and excitement throughout the day.
Your gifts make a difference for IWU students!
Remember to make your gift to Illinois Wesleyan by December 31 to be eligible for 2016 tax benefits. Gifts can be made online, by calling 1-800-689-9743 before December 23, and by check. If sending a check, it must be postmarked by December 31.
Thank you for your support!
The Reverend Mark K. Schleeter ’70 helped drive the train at the Scovill Zoo in Decatur, IL. Mark also helped to establish a PFLAG support group for LGBT persons and their families and friends in Decatur.
Show your Titan Pride!
From now through July 31, you can receive a pair of Illinois Wesleyan socks with your gift of $25 or more. All proceeds, unless otherwise designated, will support current students through the Wesleyan Fund.
These limited edition socks are only available through the end of the month.
Get yours by making a gift of $25 or more at titanpride.org/socks today!
(This offer only applies to individuals who make a gift of $25 or more by July 31. Limit 1 pair per donor.
Per IRS regulations, the $10 cost of the socks is not tax-deductible.)
Five Wesleyan grads participated in two joint barbershop shows in Danville on April 9. Bloomington’s Sound of Illinois chorus and Danville’s chorus performed separately and together in the finale.
