Janis taught preschool through fourth grade for 35 years.  After retiring she has started on an adventure that she had never dreamed of:  training teachers in South Sudan (Africa).  She had the opportunity to hear the story of Angelo, one of the Lost Boys of Sudan.  His story can be found in the book They Poured Fire on Us from the Sky.  The movie is about to be released.
