We are saddened to announce that Gloria “Peggy” Usher ’64 passed away on February 11, 2018. She was remembered by her students in this lovely article.
I remember Peg Storey Usher as the editor of the 1963 Wesleyana. She always added warmth and good humor. May her memory be fa blessing to all who knew her.
I have warm memories of Peggy, who was yearbook editor, chair of the Publications Commission and just a great person who was a very popular figure on campus. It’s no surprise that she was a great teacher because she cared about people. Very sorry to learn of her passing. RIP Peggy.
Peggy was a fellow 64 classmate and a very special friend. She always brought joy, laughter and warmth wherever she went. All who knew her will agree with me when I say she was a blessing for me and those who were in her presence. She will be missed.
