After two and a half years at IWU, I’m on track to graduate in one month. My time at Wesleyan has been full of ups and downs, but looking back on my education is interesting. I feel like I learned more from my two internships than I did in all 12 years of my academic career. It’s strange to see how different real world problems are from what’s taught in the classroom.
It’s also strange to feel so strongly that film studies is my calling when I devoted my entire life to math before college. I’m excited to start this next chapter of my life.
