I went to Oswego High School where I graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2020. After entering IWU as a math-physics double major, I quickly realized I had a passion for movies and added a minor in film studies to replace my physics major. I became a TA for the math department during my first semester at IWU and have continued to be a TA since then. On campus, I’m involved with Wesleyan’s film department and I’m the managing editor for the University newspaper, The Argus.
At Oswego, I was drawn to math by a great teacher who led me through Honors Geometry and AP Statistics. I ended high school as a TA for AP Statistics and went to college in hopes of becoming an actuary.
I entered IWU as a Mathematics-Physics double major before dropping my Physics major and adding a Film Studies minor. I fell in love with movies during my first semester at Wesleyan in a Film Aesthetics class. I graduated from IWU after five semesters.
In the summer of 2021, I interned at Facets in Chicago. I worked as a Film Festival Programming Assistant and a Camp Assistant for their summer programs.
In the summer of 2022, I worked as a Consultative Analytics Intern for Gallagher Bassett. I worked on finding key metric drivers for worker’s compensation claims throughout my time there.
