The substantial volume, published by Random House, runs 720 pages, and as a starred <em>Kirkus <\/em>review gushed, &#8220;The contributor list is an embarrassment of riches . . . The hits continue. Bring on the &#8217;70s.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Included\u00a0are pieces from Renata Adler, Roger Angell, Hannah Arendt, Michael J.
