John Updike, Ipswich, Massachusetts’ most famous resident, began living there in 1957 and continued to reside in the North Shore area not far from Boston until the end of his life. On May 7, 2014, Radio Boston offered a story on “Reexamining John Updike’s Years in Ipswich.”
