For My Spring History Project, I have chosen to present my Slavery and Post Civil War Monument Museum. This project was to create a museum that documented the history of monuments crafted after the US Civil War. I chose this blueprint (on white paper) to be my design because it was my first ever project to create a museum. I tried to design it as a museum I would love to visit many times to learn about the history of many of today’s US Civil War monuments and memorials. The entire project, which was a group project, and its presentation were two insightful learning experiences about presenting history. Part of the insight was to see how others thought the museum looked and how they felt the museum would be able to teach others about this part of american history. The other insightful part of this project was seeing the other museums made by my classmates and how we could make our project better for future audiences taking parts of the thoughts and ideas of the other great projects in the class.

(Unfortunately not all parts of the blueprint could be uploaded to the blog site.)
