During the “Mega Recycling Event” conducted last fall as part of America Recycles Day, collected items totaled:
Electronics – 22,245 lbs
Plastic garden pots – 475 lbs
CFL Lamps – 161 lbs
Household Batteries – 1035 lbs
Another Mega Recycling Event is planned this spring, in conjunction with the April 14 Illinois Sustainabile Living and Wellness Expo.
