I am a student at Illinois Wesleyan University majoring in Sociology and minoring in Women and Gender Studies. Due to the generosity of the Freeman Foundation and Illinois Wesleyan, I got the opportunity to do a study abroad internship in Manila, Philippines for the summer where I will be interning in the Student Affairs Office at St. Scholastica’s College. I leave in one week’s time, and I could not be more excited to start on this adventure and dive head-first into what will be a once in a lifetime experience.  Please follow this blog to stay updated on my travels — I will be sharing updates on my doings and the things I learn about Manila and Pinoy culture along the way!
