Since then we have added\u00a0ten other periodicals to the same website. With publication dates beginning in 1870, these\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/collections.carli.illinois.edu\/cdm4\/index_iwu_argus.php?CISOROOT=\/iwu_argus\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">student and alumni news publications<\/a>\u00a0are now\u00a0available for viewing through keyword searches or browsing by\u00a0year or decade.<\/p>\n<p>Spoof issues sit side-by-side with works that were published by and for Greeks and Independents; news accounts and reports from other schools are present with literary efforts of students;\u00a0competing orations are printed much as prized\u00a0athletic competitions are emphasized about today.<\/p>\n<p>News tidbits from alumni as well as observations on campus society and politics are included, and ads for local businesses show types of preoccupations outside students&#8217; academic work.<\/p>\n<p>Browse or search for topics and names\u00a0from IWU&#8217;s history.
