Murphy &#8217;13\u00a0has been awarded a National Research Service Award of $200,000 over five years from the National Institutes of Health, to support his research project, &#8220;Defining Novel Mechanisms Underlying Human Arrhythmogenic Cardiomyopathy.&#8221; Murphy is completing a Medical Scientist Training Program (MD\/PhD) at The Ohio State University.
