I was on the\u00a0Dean&#8217;s Honors List for 5 semesters there. As part of my studies,\u00a0I also attended an ABA-approved summer program in International Humanitarian and Human Rights Law at the National University of Ireland in Galway, Ireland. I took the Illinois bar exam in February of 2013 and was sworn in as an attorney on May 9, 2013. I am also admitted to the bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. I have been a practicing attorney with the law firm of Morrison &amp; Mix in Chicago, IL since that date, and I was a legal assistant at the same firm from August of 2008 through my admission to the Illinois bar. My firm handles cases in the areas of\u00a0bankruptcy, family law,\u00a0divorce, child support and custody,\u00a0adoption, real estate,\u00a0personal injury,\u00a0civil litigation and appeals,\u00a0professional license defense, trademark and copyright law,\u00a0corporate law,\u00a0contract law, and\u00a0probate guardianship and estate cases.
