Erika (Rozinek) Holst ’01 recently published Historic Houses of Lincoln’s
\nIllinois (SIU Press, 2018) , an illustrated compendium of twenty-two
\nhistoric buildings in the Abraham Lincoln National Heritage Area, all of
\nwhich are open to the public. Each site links today\u2019s visitors with a place
\nLincoln lived, a home of a Lincoln friend or colleague, or a spot that
\nilluminates Lincoln\u2019s era and legacy in central Illinois. Along with dozens
\nof modern and historical photographs, entries contain explorations of
\nhistorical connections to Lincoln and detailed information about
