Michael J. Sorich ’00 is now practicing plaintiff’s personal injury with Cavanagh Law Group after server 13 years at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. He will also concentrate in medical malpractice and wrongful death litigation. Having previously tried over 50 civil cases in the state & federal court and argued before the Illinois Appellate Court, he earned a reputation as tough and fair.

After graduating from IWU he received his Law Degree from John Marshall Law School. He has three children with his wife Katie and they reside in Western Springs.

Daniel Johnson ’00, who is currently the Walworth County Family Court Commissioner, is running for the Walworth County Branch 2 (Misdemeanor/Traffic) judicial seat. Read more about it here.

Andy Calloway ’00 has opened his own State Farm insurance agency in Maryville.

After building a new home for his wife and three children on the families farm, Andy was looking for new ways he could use his skill set and remain local. He wanted to control his own destiny and found his opportunity with State Farm. “State Farm really fits well with my moral compass,” he added. “There’s nothing in the product line I’d be embarrassed by.
